Springtime weighs on rural roads

Ah, spring, when a young farmer’s thoughts turn to how much LESS he’ll be able to haul per truckload, and for how long.

It’s not advisable anymore for provincial highways departments to use the same calendar dates each year to lift their winter weight allowances or impose their spring road restrictions on a given highway. Science is now being applied to better gauge when those load limits should start and end. Learn More HERE
